| My
artistic birth - pretty much self-delivered - began as a potter
in 1971 when I opened my home based Studio L and began marketing
my pottery in northern New York State.
My second birth occurred in the late
1990's - this time as a self-developing watercolorist - and the
results from this happening are visible on my
website.
Having lived most of my life in the
Adirondack foothills, I have been richly inspired by the many designs nature has to offer.
And each season brings its own special wonders. My
paintings and subsequent art/note cards are the result.
Even though I am a late "bloomer"
in the two-dimensional art world, my senior years continue to be
full. I have been participating in various solo and group juried
and non-juried exhibits in the North Country and the Adirondacks region
and have been offering local workshops both in drawing and in
watercolor. My art/note cards are my latest venture!
Each art/note card allows you to be a more
integral part of the art process. By expressing "in your own
words" special thoughts for someone special, you have created a
memento of your thoughtfulness that can become a lasting remembrance:
each card is sized to fit a 5" x 7" frame - with or without a
mat.
